Where We Meet
We meet together to worship on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Milliken Community Complex (Town Hall). On Sunday evenings we have a discussion oriented methodical Bible Study. Currently these Bible studies are being held in the homes of various church members. To learn more about our Bible Studies please inquire at one of our worship services.
Why We Are Here and What We Believe
High Plains exists to give local believers a place to join together in:
- Holy praise of our Savior, Jesus Christ, in testimony and music distinctly different from the music of the world
- Exhortation to faith-filled living by the unapologetic preaching of the Scriptures
- Edification of one another in fellowship and prayer support
- Detailed Bible Studies which allow the Scriptures to speak for themselves without doctrinal bias
- Evangelism of the communities of Johnstown and Milliken
At High Plains we are committed to believing and practicing the entire Bible without addition or subtraction -- even if the teaching of Scripture is socially unpopular. It is our goal to follow the admonition of Moses and depart neither to the right hand nor to the left. All of our preaching and Bible studies are conducted with the New American Standard Bible in order benefit from the simplicity and clarity of this literal translation.
